Virginia C. Drosos

Gina Drosos has over 25 years executive leadership experience in the consumer goods and personal care industries. As President & CEO of Assurex Health, she brings expertise in growing and scaling businesses, developing winning strategies, operations, marketing, sales and innovation for global businesses and broad brand portfolios. During her 25 year career at The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G), Gina held positions of increasing responsibility with strong proven results. Before joining the Assurex Health team, Gina most recently served P&G as Group President for Global Beauty Care, a $6+ billion global business unit with over 6,000 employees in 120 countries. Gina’s experience in the consumer space is helping Assurex Health lead the movement to patient-empowered personalized medicine and cultivate a neuropsychiatric market of over 50 million patients in the U.S. alone, with women representing a large percentage of them as the primary medical decision maker. Gina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Terry School, University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Bryan M. Dechairo, Ph.D.

With 20 years of experience in healthcare technology and a background in pharmaceutical development, Dr. Bryan Dechairo brings valuable skills to Assurex Health and the Medical Affairs team. As Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs and Clinical Development, Bryan educates physicians and payers about the significant improvements in patient outcomes and quality of life realized by administering GeneSight as treatment support for behavioral health. Before joining the Assurex Health team, Bryan was the Head of Diagnostic Reimbursement Evaluation and Extramural Research and Development for Medco Health Solutions, a pharmacy benefits manager acquired by Express Scripts in 2012. Bryan also served as the Neuroscience Lead and Director of Molecular Medicine at Pfizer Global Research and Development, leading a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and clinicians to deliver novel biomarker driven approaches for developing drugs including Xanax, Zoloft, Geodon, Lyrica, Saphris, Chantix, and Aricept. Dr. Dechairo earned a Ph.D. in Common Complex Human Genetics from the Institute of Child Health at University College London and a B.A. in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Peter joins us with 23 years of financial management and accounting experience, with the past 12 years focused in the healthcare industry.  Most recently, Peter served as Chief Financial Officer of Bovie Medical, a leading maker of medical devices and supplies. From 2011 to 2013, Peter served as the Corporate Controller for Cyberonics, Inc.  a $300M revenue medical device company engaged in the design, development, sale and marketing of an implantable medical devices. Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Catsys Health, Inc. and IRIS International, Inc., a $100M in-vitro diagnostic company.  Peter is a graduate of The Fisher College at The Ohio State University, where he obtained a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting.  He also holds an MBA from The University of Akron.

With over 20 years of experience at Fortune 500 global manufacturing companies, Inger Eckert is a business-minded corporate lawyer with broad experience in leading large corporate departments and fostering innovation for competitive advantage.  As Senior Vice President & General Counsel at Assurex Health, Inger provides strategic thinking and guidance on matters of corporate importance, developing and executing the company strategy, identifying opportunities to drive growth and competitive advantage, and forming the organization structure and policies needed to drive sustainable and profitable growth.  Before joining the Assurex Health team, Inger served as Chief Counsel, Global Intellectual Property and General Counsel for the Corporate Technology Division of International Paper, a $29 billion Fortune 150 company where she developed strategy and drove tactics for the acquisition, maintenance, enforcement, and monetization of International Paper’s global intellectual property. Inger holds her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Dayton, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from The Pennsylvania State University.

As an industry leader in the medical sales profession, Mark brings valuable insights into the development of innovative sales strategies, product portfolio management, key account development, problem solving, talent development and analytics. Mark’s proven leadership is reflected in his numerous sales positions and promotions, most recently at Cyberonics, where over five years he doubled global revenues. These results were achieved due to Mark’s vast knowledge of all aspects of the sales cycle including development and implementation of global sales, commercial strategies, customer service and sales training. In addition to his tremendous sales experience, Mark is committed to creating a culture of accountability and achievement for both immediate and long-term goals. Mark earned a B.S. in Life Sciences with a minor in Physiology from The Pennsylvania State University.

Jeff P. Borcherding

A marketing professional with over 20 years of experience, Jeff Borcherding is a strategic, driven and creative business leader with a proven track record of building businesses and growing sales through marketing, product management and sales leadership. Before arriving at Assurex Health, Jeff was a Senior Vice President at Astute Solutions and the Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales at Paycor, both cloud software providers. Jeff’s passion and drive resulted in significant growth at both companies as he built advanced marketing and sales development functions. At Paycor, Jeff rebranded the company and helped more than double sales to nearly $100 million while generating a 5:1 ROI on marketing spending. Jeff also brings to Assurex Health experience as a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, where he drove double-digit annual sales growth for both Asacol, as well as the billion-dollar brand Actonel. While at the market research firm Ipsos, Jeff honed his ability to uncover business-building insights. Jeff earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Kevin M. Brady

Kevin joined the Company with over 18 years of leadership experience in accounting, finance, market transactions, systems and process improvements. As Vice President and Controller, Kevin is responsible for leading our accounting function. Before joining the Assurex Health team, Kevin served as the Corporate Controller of Champion Window. From 2003 to 2013, Kevin held numerous finance and accounting leadership positions within P&G’s corporate operations and business units. Prior to P&G, Kevin worked at Ernst & Young LLP with a focus on SEC clients. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati and is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio.

Jeffrey P. Bush, CT(ASCP), M.B.A.

With over 20 years of experience in the diagnostic, medical device, and clinical laboratory industries, Jeff Bush applies his expertise to the development and implementation of an Assurex Health strategy for collaborating with payers and payer stakeholders. As Vice President, Payer Markets and Reimbursement, Jeff works with commercial and government payers to establish coverage and value-based reimbursement for each of the Assurex Health products. Before joining the Assurex Health team, Jeff was the Director of Corporate Reimbursement for Becton, Dickinson and Company where he established coding, coverage, and payment for Becton, Dickinson and Company’s products in the United States and overseas. Jeff was instrumental in the development and passage of reform legislation that enhanced transparency in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) processes for coverage and payment of new diagnostic technologies. Jeff was also a Managed Care Executive, Special Projects at CYTYC Corporation where he played a key role in the adoption and eventual market dominance of the ThinPrep® Pap Test. Jeff earned a B.S. in Chemistry from California State University, a certificate in Cytotechnology from Loma Linda University, and an M.B.A. from Colorado State University.

Sandra J. Gunselman, Ph.D.

With over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology and regulated medical device industries, Sandra Gunselman brings a proven track record of efficiency and high performance to Assurex Health.  As Vice President, Laboratory Operations, Sandra oversees operation of the Assurex Health CLIA and CAP-accredited and New York State Department of Health approved GeneSight laboratory in Mason, Ohio and the Assurex Health laboratory in Toronto, Canada.  Before arriving at Assurex Health, Sandra spent several years at Transgenomic, Inc, where she most recently served as the Vice President Clinical Operations.  She was responsible for day-to-day operation of the CLIA-accredited clinical laboratory, achievement of P&L plan with a budget of $10 million and the successful implementation of infrastructure upgrades as well as process changes reducing average TAT from 11 to 5 weeks.  Sandra earned a B.S. in biology from David Lipscomb University and a Ph.D. in cellular & molecular biology from Colorado State University.

Anthony J. Kleeman

A proven leader in the business and technology domains for over 20 years, Tony Kleeman specializes in optimizing the alignment of people, processes and technologies for comprehensive solutions in information management. As the Vice President, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), his focus on the integration of operational, analytical and science data coupled with a background in accounting, positions the organization to consistently and effectively monitor, measure and monetize the corporate business objectives. As a Principal Consultant for Systems Evolution, Inc. (SEI), Tony led both assessment and implementation efforts for various Fortune 500 companies in the enterprise data warehousing, master data management, enterprise application integration, data mining, business intelligence and advanced analytics areas. He also served as a member of the SEI Board of Directors. Prior to Assurex Health, Tony held leadership positions at GE Capital, Fifth Third Bank, and Anthem/Wellpoint. Tony is certified in ITIL, a Six Sigma Black Belt and earned a B.S. in Economics and a MBA in Information Management from Northern Kentucky University.

With over 15 years of experience in software development, Scott Roth plays a key role in the creation and development of the GeneSight technology. As Vice President, Product Development, Scott is responsible for leading the team that builds and supports the GeneSight software platform, Assurex Health product management and product offerings, and the Assurex Health LIMS system. Before joining the Assurex Health team, Scott was a Software Development Manager at Domin-8 Enterprise Solutions managing a team of software developers that built and maintained property management web applications. Scott also served as a Senior Software Developer at Spotlight Solutions and a Software Engineer at Attachmate Corporation. Scott earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

With over 20 years of experience in finance and operations, Karen Schellin brings a strong background in finance, accounting, systems, acquisitions, and new product and channel rollouts to the Assurex Health team. As Vice President, Finance, Karen is responsible for all accounting, financial operations, and billing activities. Before joining the Assurex Health team, Karen was Associate Vice President of Operations for EyeMed Vision Care, a managed vision care division of Luxottica Retail. As a member of the senior leadership team, Karen was responsible for setting strategic direction for all healthcare operations including enrollment, claims operations, billing, payment processing, provider operations, customer care, and systems planning. She held several titles within EyeMed Vision Care including Associate Vice President of Finance, Senior Director of Finance, and Director, Finance and Accounting. Karen is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University.

Bringing 27 years of extensive operations, planning, and project management expertise to Assurex Health, Amy Sheehy continues to propel the company along its strong growth path. Drawing on her career with the worldwide leader in consumer goods and personal care products, Amy’s various managerial positions at Procter & Gamble (P&G) have well prepared her to handle the role as Vice President, Operations at Assurex.  In her career at P&G, Amy led improvements in cash, cost and service across the $33B North America business through leadership, organizational capability, and innovative work processes. Amy is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned her B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Management Science. Amy also earned her Executive M.B.A. from The Fisher College of Business from The Ohio State University.

Frank J. Tepe

With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Frank Tepe brings valuable insights to Assurex Health.  As Vice President, Commercial Operations and Analytics, Frank is instrumental in analyzing how the company is performing and continues to develop best practices for the commercial and operations teams. Before joining the Assurex Health team, Frank was the Executive Director of Sales Operations at OnCall, LLC and the Executive Director Sales Operations, Trade & Distribution at Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals. At Xanodyne, Frank acquired needed systems to assist in the management of the sales organization, built a data warehouse to track and report all business initiatives, and helped launch several products. Frank also served in various sales leadership positions at Roche Pharmaceuticals. Frank earned a B.A. in Computer Science from Thomas More College.
